Abstract

1Q Histological findings of anterior lobe of normal mouse compose of 3 kinds of cells, i. e. main, eosinoephilic and basophilic cells. Their number and distribution show that the main cells are most prominent in number and every distributed throughout anterior lobe. The next is eosiuophilic cells and basophilic cells are very few.
(9 The specific changes of anterior lobe by casterization are marked proliferation and hypertrophy of basophilic cells. Above specific change, so called the figure of Casterized anterior lobe can be demonstrated in the anterior lobe of mouse 30 days after casterization.
QAbove so called the phase of Casterized anterior lobe is markedly arrested by administration of Chlorpromazine.
O Abovesuggested that the establishment of Casterized anterior lobe is not direct reaction of anterior lobe by casterization, but hypothalamus reacted first to deficency of steroids by casterization and next it gave accelerating stimulation to anterior lobe.
